The Extensible Markup Language (XML) is a simple text-based format representing structured information: documents, data, configuration, books, transactions, invoices, and much more. It was derived from an older standard format, SGML (ISO 8879), to be better suited for Web use.

When using XML with Classic ASP, we can process the data to deliver enormous amounts of data for use with Google and other data-hungry online entities.
